At LabourNet we take great pride in the training services that we provide. Our vision is to be the market leaders in the Industrial Relations Training Arena . LabourNet provides effective, hands on and comprehensive training to assist managers to combat common staff related problems and to create a productive and harmonious working environment.
The Training Division was initially started up with the aim of improving our division policy on “Adding Value to our Client's Businesses through pro-active empowerment of staff”.
By training key personnel on how to deal with the following day to day labour issues that may arise in the workplace, we aim to eliminate common pitfalls that may occur in the Disciplinary Process and may result in the risk of referral to the CCMA.
As part of being accredited with the Services SETA and in line with our ongoing focus to be the benchmark training provider, LabourNet has designed workshops to maximise delegate participation and practical learning. We do this through the utilisation of the following outcomes based learning techniques:
- Scheduled group discussions
- Case scenario based questionnaires
- Customised role play’s emphasising carefully selected situations specific to the relevant work place
- Step by step guidelines for typical disciplinary procedures
All LabourNet facilitators are highly qualified and skilled Labour Relations specialists who are able to draw real world situations into the learning environment. They are furthermore carefully selected and developed to facilitate learning by maximising group participation and interaction.
Each delegate is provided with their own learning manual and quick reference guide to ensure retention of new concepts or skills development. Our electronic presentations encourage interaction and interest in the subjects at hand.
One of the key benefits of LabourNet training is that we customise our material to be in-line with the clients policies and procedures and where available case law and exercises relevant to the clients industry is added to simplify the learning experience for the attendees.
With LabourNet's strong background in Labour law, we have modelled many processes on “The LabourNet Way” principle, which takes years of experience and the codes of good practise prescribed by the Labour Department and bundles it into fool proof procedures. These procedures are then taught to the learners.
LabourNet has a unique position in the market place as the training can be provided on a national basis utilising LabourNet's branch infrastructure.
Training is conducted in two formats, they are:
